American Dream

After six years of the current regime the dream seems a nightmare.
I remember the disbelief I felt in 2000 ,the gnawing in my gut and the ensuing depression when
the yapping terrier (thanks to Gore Vidal for that moniker) was selected by the supreme court.This has gone so far beyond my worse expectations.Pitiable in every way and so sad for the many who have lost their lives,here and abroad. So here we are,grudgingly under the thumb of the emperor of "the have mores". Can I wake up now?
