Mother Maize

Posted by rverspirit (Mount Vernon, United States) on 7 September 2007 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

A number of years ago my significant other was from the Eastern Band Cherokee tribe. She kept a bag of dried corn kernels in a small plastic bag. She told me she was saving it for the time when all the existing corn was contaminated . Something pure from nature .Something special and spiritual and important to the mother earth.
Can you spot the GMO's in this picture?
