This is from my archive. I took a series of photos in the small town of Concrete Washington. A town on the edge of nowhere and everywhere, nestled in the North Cascades,Washington State,USA. Most famous for the memoirs of author Tobias Wolfe,'This Boy's Life' a fabulous book made into a film of the same name, filmed in town and starring Robert Deniro. Also of note as a jumping off point for Jack Kerouac on his way to his summer fire lookout job in the 50's at Desolation Peak. Hemce the name of his book 'Desolation Angels'.

An interesting background to this photo; this one has a haunting sense of "October" in the life of someone.
